COVID-19 has affected daily life around the world — including how we travel (or don't travel). Even before the World Health Organization declared the new coronavirus a global pandemic on March 11, 2020, city governments, mobility service operators and more have been acting to promote public health and safety.
As the crisis continues, NUMO is collaborating with allies to craft and amplify innovative solutions to critical challenges posed by the new coronavirus, including providing safe, reliable and efficient transportation options for essential workers, supporting the work of epidemiologists to craft recommendations for mobility during quarantine in Latin American cities and hosting a series of conversations with leading city officials about responses COVID-19 and long-term impacts on resilience planning.
