NUMO New Mobility Atlas

The NUMO New Mobility Atlas is a data-driven platform that maps the rapid proliferation of shared, dockless, electric micromobility in cities around the world.

Developed in partnership with organizations from the public and private sectors, the Atlas uses open data to track where dockless scooters, bicycles and mopeds, and which operators, are available in cities.

January 2024 update: The January 2024 update is the final update to the New Mobility Atlas. NUMO has been thrilled to collect and house the data for this effort for the last four years. Going forward, the data from past versions of the Atlas can be downloaded here.

Building off the Atlas, NUMO partnered with the Shared-Use Mobility Center and WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities to create the Micromobility Policy Atlas, which helps to contextualize the role of regulation in the deployment, adoption, success and evolution of new mobility in cities.
